We are very excited to launch our new initiative: The Young Professionals Coaching Skills Certificate.
The Young Professionals Coaching Skills Certificate is the latest addition to the suite of programmes that we offer at the AoEC. In collaboration with CoachBright, we have co-created and designed a unique training opportunity that aims to ease the transition from higher education into working life.
CoachBright are a very successful social enterprise, making a big impact on results in schools and universities by training university students as academic coaches to coach secondary school students. We believe that by coming together as two organisations, one with an expertise in working with young people and the other with an expertise in training coaches at senior executive level we have created a fantastic programme training young professionals in coaching skills. CEO and AoEC trained coach of CoachBright, Robin Chu will lead the delivery.
Mary, head of programmes at CoachBright, says “I am excited to be collaborating with the AoEC on this to allow a younger group of professionals to access this course. They are a group that often do not benefit from coaching skills until later in their career.”
Gina, CEO of the AoEC says “We are really proud to be collaborating with CoachBright, they are such an innovative, future-thinking organisation. With coaching and anything at the moment, we’re looking at the new generation not just thinking about now, we’re thinking about how we can build future leaders. CoachBright are using coaching to help people get through the education system and become successful and they’ve had amazing results.”
Our combined aim is to equip the next generation with coaching skills to support their development, at the outset, and not make coaching a skill you typically still acquire much later in your career. The offer is both time and cost effective and we believe will have a significant and positive impact on the engagement and motivation of those just starting out in their career.
AoEC offer coaching, triple-accredited coach training, and consulting to individuals and organisations worldwide looking to embrace positive change through empowering people. For more information on the programme, please visit Young Professionals Coaching Skills Certificate webpage.
