The Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) has launched AoEC Canada, appointing Dr Evelina Rog to lead its expansion and bring its globally recognised coaching programmes to leaders and aspiring coaches across the country.

This is more than a regional expansion. It reflects a growing global need for coaching that is both rigorous and deeply human supporting leaders to navigate complexity, uncertainty, and rapid change with confidence.

Founder of EJR Leadership Development Inc., Evelina is a PCC-level executive coach, senior systemic team coach, and award-winning executive educator with a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. With over 15 years of experience partnering with senior leaders and leadership teams, she brings a distinctive blend of academic depth, real‑world practice and transformational expertise.

The launch comes at a time when demand for coaching in Canada is accelerating. Leaders are under increasing pressure to perform in fast-moving, unpredictable environments, while more professionals are seeking purposeful, flexible careers. Coaching is no longer peripheral; it is becoming a core leadership capability.

Through AoEC Canada, participants will gain access to the internationally accredited Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching. Designed to build real-world coaching capability, this programme equips leaders and professionals with the skills to unlock performance, strengthen relationships and lead meaningful, sustained change.

Dr. Rog said: “I believe Canada has the potential to become a global model for more human-centred, innovative and conscious leadership. Leaders today are navigating increasing complexity while also creating cultures of trust, accountability, adaptability, innovation and psychological safety. In my experience, coaching is the most powerful way to accelerate the development of those capacities. The shifts in mindset required to lead effectively today are not easily shaped through training or AI alone. Human-to-human coaching develops leaders differently because it reshapes how they think, relate, and lead in complex, high-stakes environments.

“My vision for AoEC Canada is to build a strong community of leaders and practitioners capable of creating meaningful transformation across individuals, teams, organisations and systems. Leadership today requires both humanity and rigour, and coaching helps leaders develop the capacity for both.”

Paul Smith, managing director, AoEC Global commented: “Canada is a natural and important next step in the AoEC’s international growth. It is a sophisticated, fast‑evolving market where demand for high‑quality, accredited coaching continues to rise. Evelina brings outstanding credibility, insight and alignment with the AoEC’s values. Together, we are creating a strong local presence while contributing to a global network that is raising the standard of coaching worldwide, in line with our vision to be the most respected voice in global coaching.”

Founded in 1999, the AoEC is a globally recognised provider of executive coach training, with operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. The launch of AoEC Canada strengthens this global network making AoEC’s distinctive, human‑centred approach more accessible, while supporting leaders and organisations to create meaningful impact in a rapidly changing world.
